EL PASO LEATHER (LINKS) 2-POINT SLING - SWIVEL FIT

This is a really nice / nifty sling that EL PASO does, brimming w/ both aesthetic and practicality.

The different links lend the sling additional flexibility, with less / reduced stress on the leather itself. The links flex easier / more readily and like a chain, can handle exerting stress.

This sling has a broad 55mm shoulder piece, about 40cm in length.

The balance measures in 58cm w/ four snake bite holes as loop points, to adjust the overall length of the sling.

The sling's retention, is acquired through fitting it through rifle sling swivels, forming a loop, then lacing it through overlapping snake bite holes by way of the included brown strip of lace. NOTE that there is a thumbhole on this section - for those not in the loop of its use

The sling is made from FULL GRAIN BOVINE HIDE, given a tan dye.

The leather itself is ±3.5mm in density.

In terms of maintenance:

All EL PASO's products come varnished out of the factory - treatment is only necessary once you notice that the holster starts looking dull - at this point, you can use linseed oil or liquid paraffin for treating the leather.

Is also a lovely option for treating oil, as it is mineral based, we understand. 
DO NOT use DUBBIN as this will block the pores of the leather and causes the thread stitching to start rotting.
