BEILESHI 1X30 RED DOT - PICATINNY MOUNTED

This is a nice little module, fully suitable for airsoft (see the video embedded below) and paintball / anti-riot. It is Picatinny mounted, but does not feature any cross-bolts that would slot through the Picatinny rail.

This optic is mostly parallax free, for the above-mentioned applications, where one will be looking to put one's shot onto a torso-sized target at up to 30 meters away and one needs to acquire that same target w/ both eyes open, and no eye-relief / eyebox restriction. The down side is that there is no magnification, so it is not ideally suited for longer distance shooting, unless you are keen on shooting small targets!

The rheostat sits on top as the primary / larger turret head, whereby the reticle / dot can be toggled through 5 different power levels of green and red. There likewise, are two points for switching the module off - There is no auto-shutoff on this module, so please watch that you don't leave this module on and allow it to drain your battery through.

The smaller turrets are for adjusting windage and elevation respectively, to zero this module in, so that the dot will converge with your your shot is going at a given distance.

Otherwise, our complaints on this module are next to none - Good price for an enclosed prism sight, manufactured completely out of aluminium. The laser dot is not the most crisp in the whole world, neither is the durability, but it is cheap enough that, if you were to bugger it up after two years, you can just replace it w/ another one, or upgrade to something of finer quality.

But overall, this red dot does give you real good value for your buck. Recommended for night-time / poorly lit indoor environments where rifle open sights might be less-than-ideal. Against bright outdoor backdrops during daytime, you'll need to crank the brightness up properly.
