These BBs weigh in at 2gr and are a good substitute for the nickel -or copper clad BBs that weigh in 5.1 ~ 5.5gr. Not only will they do less damage, but also produce less penetration and ricochet danger. Use these for airsoft purposes at your own risk! - Airsoft guns usually pack <1 J of energy and are meant to be used to shoot at other players. Non-blowback CO2 pistols, while cheaper and have lower running costs, pack anything from 2.2J ~ 3J. Just call the field you're playing at in advance (if intending to play a public game) whether you'll be allowed to use a CO2 non blowback pistol for airsoft in advance.
