Anodized, aluminium single piece mount ring for air rifles, w/ an adjustable base whereupon the upper half would rock / shift. This is especially if you are working with a limited dovetail rail length, but cannot through conventional scope-tube manouevering, obtain proper eye relief or if the proper eye relief leaves the scope tube seated undesirably. This mount ring piece is basically two pieces - your rail clamp lower w/ the seater rail ontop of that. The second half are your mount rings attached to the slider. The slider rides upon the seater
In fixed position, the mount rings are affixed on multiple ends (four grub screws on the side, also via one M5 machine screw up from the bottom, that will be the main securing / stabilizing point. In this (default) position, you can access the grub screw (in the middle of the rail) that will thread down to the rail and would normally be used to thread into the hole in the dovetail rail, for the purpose of stabilizing the mount ring against recoil. However, do note that, should you shift the mount rings to one side or the other, you'll only have one side of side-insert grub screws at your disposal to tighten down on the top part of this mounting ring. The grub screw that would interact with the action of the rifle, can be repurposed to thread down the rear scope ring, then through the lower scope ring half, to set the upper mount rings halfway forward on its alloted space.
Also note that this mount ring is neither height nor angle adjustable.
Otherwise, the mount rings each has a double set of locking rings each side and moreover, as illustrated, comes w/ the smooth polymer ring inserts, to adapt this mount ring piece for 1" scope tubes.
Also as indicated, a set of four allen-keys come included to toggle all the machine screws and grub screws responsible for keeping this mount ring together.
Please note however that this is not a precision air rifle / optic accessory, nor do we recommend it for precision applications. This is rather just for informal hobby applications as well as for those looking for a cheap solution to their optic mounting issue.
