These mount rings are the staple for airgunners looking to mount a lower budget scope, possible sub R1000 retail value on their rifle's dovetail.

These rings are by no means equal in dimension to one another and just about the only mount rings lower grade than these would be plastic ones, however, for backyard plinkers looking to shoot up to 20 maybe 30 meters w/ a less recoiling rifle, these mount rings will do just fine. Please don't mount them on something like an SR1250S/W, as they may eventually give in. You'll need a one piece mount ring for that application w/ a beefy recoil stopper / absorber.

These mount rings are spray painted, not anodized and the harsh milling marks to show on the surface, which the paint doesn't properly hide, so texturing does show through, although more or less uniformally so.

These mount rings, for the price, do offer a handy cut in cost to those looking for an affordable mounting solution for a telescope for a newly purchased PCP rifle.
