INSTRUCTIONS
The Standard Series is a passive retention holster. When un-holstering, do so in a deliberate and rapid upward motion. Silicone spray may be used in the trigger guard area of the holster as a means of lowering the level of retention. Passive retention is automatically engaged upon re-holstering.
PADDLE AND BELT MOUNTING OPTIONS
For paddle option, place the paddle inside your pants and firmly push the paddle down until the paddle fits inside your pants on your belt leaving the holster on the outside of your pants. For belt option, slide your belt through the belt attachment. Always tighten your belt with either mounting option to ensure retention of your Fobus product. The location of your Fobus product around your waist is based upon personal preference.Fobus products with tension adjustment screws are not pre-set. You must adjust the screw to ensure proper retention of your firearm or magazine. Always check the adjustment screw each time you use your Fobus product to confirm proper retention.
SPECIAL CARRY OPTIONS
Roto-Holster. The Roto-Holster system provides for 360 degree holster rotation and is compatible with any Fobus mounting option. It includes an adjustment screw for easy assembly and rotation. To adjust the angle of the holster, loosen the adjustment screw on the back of the holster and rotate to the desired position. Ensure that the holster locks into one of the pre-set locking positions and tighten the adjustment screw on the back of the holster to secure rotation position. DO NOT ADJUST THE ROTATION OF YOUR HOLSTER WHICH WOULD RESULT IN THE GRIP (REAR) OF YOUR FIREARM BEING CLOSER TO THE GROUND (UPSIDE DOWN) THAN THE MUZZLE (OR FRONT) OF YOUR FIREARM.
Technical Information
Holster Material - mold injected Polymer formula. Passive retention system acts like a spring on the trigger guard area and holds the gun firmly in place.

SAFETY WARNING
PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE SAFETY WARNING AND INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING YOUR FOBUS HOLSTER. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH. THE SAFE USE OF THIS PRODUCT IS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE USER.
WARNING - All firearms are potentially dangerous and should be handled with extreme caution. The firearm manufacturer’s instructions and recommendations should be read and followed prior to the handling of your firearm. Training in an accredited firearms safety course is essential for proper handling of all firearms. If you are not familiar with the safe use of firearms or have not been instructed in the safe use of firearms, serious injury or death may result. Read and understand all owner’s manuals and instructions prepared by the firearm’s manufacturer for your handgun. Practice and training are mandatory prior to using the holster. Do not use a loaded firearm during practice and training. Practice using the holster with an unloaded firearm until you are thoroughly competent and proficient in its safe use. Any and all fit and retention adjustments should be done with an unloaded firearm. Fobus holsters are designed to fit factory firearms only.
Fobus holsters are designed and manufactured to fit one or more firearms. Fobus holsters should be used only for the firearm models recommended by Fobus. If you are not sure if the Fobus holster fits your firearm, do not use the holster and contact our Customer Service or check the Fobus website for fit compatibility (www.fobusholster.com). Carrying a firearm in a holster that does not properly fit the firearm may result in serious injury or death. Do not use this holster to carry any firearm that has been modified or that is malfunctioning in any way as serious injury or death may result. Do not modify this holster in any way. Always check the holster for any wear or damage prior to each use and DO NOT use the holster if any wear or damage interferes with the safety and/or function of the holster or the firearm. Do not carry a firearm equipped with a hammer extension or trigger shoe in this holster.
ALWAYS BE SURE TO CARRY THE RIGHT SIZE HOLSTER FOR YOUR FIREARM.
THIS IS A RETENTION HOLSTER, NOT A STORAGE DEVICE. IT IS NOT TO BE USED AS A LOCKING DEVICE OR AS A DEVICE DESIGNED TO KEEP YOUR FIREARM AWAY FROM CHILDREN OR OTHER UNAUTHORIZED USERS DURING STORAGE. WHEN NOT IN USE, ALWAYS KEEP YOUR FIREARM SAFELY SECURED IN ACCORDANCE WITH APPLICABLE LAW.
It is the user’s responsibility to make sure that the firearm properly fits the holster at all times. In the event that the holster no longer properly fits the firearm, does not provide the required retention or is defective in any manner, immediately discontinue using the holster. Do not carry a firearm in the holster with the hammer cocked. Always engage the safety. Do not holster or remove your firearm from the holster with your finger on the firearm trigger or hammer. Be very careful and use caution when holstering any firearm with an external hammer to avoid unintentional cocking of the hammer. Immediately after holstering, always check to make sure that the hammer is not in a cocked position. Do not holster or draw the firearm with your finger on the trigger or in the trigger guard. Firearms should be carried with hammer or firing pin on an empty chamber. Always place hand on the handgun and holster when running or performing other vigorous activity. Do not expose holster to extreme heat conditions. Always protect exposed magazine release buttons from accidental depression.
