The Daisy Powerline model 426 is an all-polymer design sub-compact pistol that comes ready in a neat clamshell package, free of previous tampering, with manufacturing advertisements well laid out around the pistol.
The pistol itself weighs in at a mere 400g's, with a magazineintegrated into the slide, featuring a horizontally actuating magazine follower to accomodate 15 BBs, loaded into the middle through the feeder hole, once the latter has been pushed and locked into the notch at the forward-most position. This feature means that one will no longer need to battle w/ spring-loaded slim magazines that might pop out when the mag-release is accidentally pressed and the stick magazine shoots to the floor and/or loosing what might otherwise amount to a pricey replacement. This makes it convenient for younger shooters as well.
The Ejection port is moulded out w/ realistic looking features, such as the double series of cocking grooves, rear striker-fire operated butt-end, textured back-strap that appears as if removable, mock magazine butt-plate supporting the three finger grooves w/ shallow thumb rest. a Mock blowback rod is featured w/ a functional 30mm weaver railing for mounting a pistol laser or underbarrel flashlight.
The safety is a cross-bolt push-through button that prohibits the trigger from actuating.
The trigger itself has a lengthy pull and has a semi-skeletized appearance; parallelogram notches moulded in.
The pistol itself is otherwise a two-piece mould, screwed together on the right face and has a loose Taurus 24/7 resemblance.
The 12g CO2 cartridge loads in by means of stripping the handle off, then inserting the capsule into the exposed chamber.
