Out of the box, this marker packs 7 J of muzzle energy. By purchasing the HIGHEST SPRING UPGRADE with this marker;

  • TIPPMANN ,BT,VALKEN HIGHEST TENSION COMP SPRING

We'll install the spring for you along with working a little NEON magic on the marker and boost the FPS for you up to 16J. That's to say, shooting 54gr solids @ 320 fps AVERAGE using a regular 12 OZ CO2 tank power source. The installation labour will be on the house, of course
This sort of power is ample for dealing with any home intrusion problem, for dispersing rioteers and generally restoring law and order. It will not cause lasting scars, instead, just effect a type of pain on the person shot that will coerce compliance.

This marker can be upgraded to the TIPPMANN STORMER ELITE, which is just the mag-fed variant of this marker. Its nice if you'd like to have the option of using an 18 shot magazine, otherwise, have a dummy 10 shot magazine engaged whilst having your hopper engaged.

The TIPPMANN STORMER TACTICAL brings you the reliability and ease which the CRONUS is known for, but w/ the fun of shooting something that more closely resembles a rifle.

This marker is completely polymer, likewise available only in this nifty tactical black colour. It comes w/ a set of flip-up iron sights (also polymer) adjustable for windage and elevation. These are Picatinny mounted and as such, are removable and compatable w/ all Picatinny interfaces.

You are supplied w/ a stubby vertical foregrip that is TIPPMANN branded - it retains by means of a set of panhead socket drive screws - you can set it as forwardly or as rearwardly as you'd prefer, for your ergonomy.

The five point collapsible CAR-15 styled stock is supplied with and adjusts easily by depressing the lever by its checkered side. The shoulder piece of the buttstock is pyramidically checkered for better traction to the shoulder. You of course do not have to fit the stock in order for the marker to function normally - It is an optional accessory supplied with.

 The pistol grip on this rifle is slimmer than the Chronus model lends itself easier to those w/ smaller hands. There are no finger scallops here, instead, the handle is dot-checkered on the panels. IT has a rubber-ish texture to it, but mostly firm.

The rifle cocks via the bolt lever on the left face of the marker, it will have to be pulled into its cocked position. Thereafter, via the ASA at the bbase of the handle, you can thread your tank in (just mind not to cross-thread the tank valve - brass metal is soft compared to other metals)

The trigger is skeletized and sits inside a nice beefy trigger guard.

The handguard is plain for the most part, featuring a Picatinny rail over the top and under the bottom, limiting your mounting space for accessories a little, but if you only want to mount, say, a laser pointer, then you could mount it in front of the foregrip, or not mount the foregrip, and utilize the extra space available. The handguard moreover slips off simply by depressing the tab on the side, then slipping the shroud off. The barrel you'll note, is plain and does not have the same flutted muzzle brake on as you'd have on the TMC.

Our overall opinion on this marker is excellent - Very reliable and stays leak-free, on condition that you don't store the marker pressurized - We recommend threading the tank off and storing the marker decocked. We also recommend a little SINGER 3-IN-1 lubricant on occasion;

  • SINGER ALL PURPOSE OIL - 80ML
    1. On the rear bolt through the cocking bolt slot (on the white O-ring).
    2. Via the hopper neck - here you want to have the marker cocked and dispense a few droplets on the orange detant inside the marker. Likewise on the O-ring of the front bolt
    3. On the hole in the ASA - Four droplets should do it - this will go all the way to the power tube and lubricate the valve interior.

You also want to swab the barrel out w/ a soft cloth - this you can just twist and push in and rotate the cloth whilst pushing it inward. Once the cloth emerges through the other side, grab the end and pull through hard. That should leave the barrel looking nicely polished again.
