 ***

This pistol is a slightly large replica of the BERETTA PX4 storm and if you were to look at the two adjacent to one another, you'll see that the curves match up quite realistically. The grips are fully diamond checkered, in four different panels on both sides. The backstrap is beefed out w/ centrifugal cut-in grooves, whose square angles lend better traction.
The beaver tail is short and stubby, though sufficient to keep the webbing between the index and thumb away from the hammer's arc of motion. The cocking serrations are forwardly sloped towards the barrel, seven in particular w/ a broader width for improved grip, although, they don't serve a real mechanical purpose, as the slide needn't be manually racked to discharge the gun, though doing so, would cock the fully functional hammer. Speaking of which - the hammer ridge is cross-serrated for better thumb-traction and the hammer itself does hit a 'firing pin', which is basically a valve pin - so just watch and make sure not to accidentally drop the hammer whilst the gun is pressurized, as this will fire off a shot.

The sights feature a set of white dots - two on the rear sight notch and one on the frontal sight blade, though on this pistol, if you have the Picatinny quad rail shroud mounted, you won't be able to use these, but they do come in handy as a backup.

The barrel on this entire pistol is fixed at 12" and cannot be shortened / retracted, etc. The silencer featured on the pistol is a weighted dummy utility, which does weigh in about as much as a 9mm cal. silencer would, so it does add realistic weight to the frontal end of the pistol. The slide as you may have guessed at this point, is all-metal

The CO2 capsule inserts by removing the bottom cover on the handle by tugging hard enough on it, in a downward direction. This will reveal the whole pressure capsule compartment, where you would chuck your 12g CO2 capsule in vertically, then tighten it down by means of the thumb screw exterior to the base of capsule compartment. The magazine itself ejects via the magazine release button on the right face of the handle.
The safety sits on the right face of the pistol and is toggled by pulling rearwardly on the serrations embedded central to the safety lever. They are a little stiff, although this added safety feature, on top of the safety, adds an extra level of shooting safety. This safety of course, will entirely block the trigger from being able to toggle and the hammer from being able to catch in the cocked position.

The pistol itself lacks a slide catch feature, thus there is no slide hold-open once your last pellet is expended - you'll need to keep track of your ammunition count by memory.

Finally - you needn't fully equip your pistol; feel free to kit it out, with all the supplied equipment, to a lay-out that would suit YOU, not the way someone else on the internet has theirs configured, otherwise, shooting this pistol will quickly loose its fun value.

"The PT-85 Blowback is one of the top selling GAMO pistols. It features CO2 Blowback action, a tactical rail and a 16-round magazine. Ready for lots of realistic handgun practice!

CAUTION: Use only flat head or low dome pellets (like the GAMO Match or the Hunter pellets) to avoid damaging your magazine. Do NOT use pellets like the Red Fire, PBA Bullet, Magnum, Master Point, Lethal or TS-10.

Gamo PT-85 .177 Blowback Tactical pellet Pistol is equipped with every accessory you could require, the tactical version of the PT85 from Gamo is one of the best value pistols that we sell.

The rifled barrel of the Gamo has been extended to over double its length making the pistol far more accurate. The synthetic polymer grip is easy to hold and the whole pistol is well balanced despite being quite long. The pistol is also light enough as to not fatigue your arms whilst shooting allowing you to stay on target for longer. The blowback feature of the pistol gives it realistic recoil by kicking the slide back when fired, this makes the pistol great fun to shoot.

This is achieved utilising a small portion of air to move the slide backward when firing. A rifled steel barrel has been extended over double the length of the PT-85. It has a textured grip and comes with a tactical torch (80 lumen),  RGB red dot 30mm and a laser 65mm"
