HPA MI is a high quality airgun from Gamo. The carbine is sold as a package kit with a scope, with an adjustable magnification setting of 3-9 and objective diameter of 40mm, which allows precise shooting at longer distances.
The stock of the airgun is made automative-grade glass-reinforced nylon. On the front grip and pistol grip there is texturing to allow for a more confident purchase on the rifle. The HPA MI has an ambidextrous cheek pad, which facilitates right- and left-handed cheek-resting, likewise to optimize eye-relief to the occular lens
The reticle is adapted for shooting pellets calibre 4.5 mm diabolo type with an initial velocity of up to 305 m/s. High power and a threaded barrel allow shooting at longer distances. Whisper Maxxim barrel reduces firing noise by 50%. The front and rear sights adjustable vertically and horizontally have TRU-GLO light points of light which make aiming easier, especially in unfavourable light conditions. The musket in the airgun is protected by a steel hood, which secure it from possible damage.
For users who want to shoot accurately, the manufacturer has included an 11 mm Gamo RRR (Recoil Reducing Rail) mounting rail, which reduces recoil and the resulting vibrations during shooting and thus extends the life of the mounted scope. Included in the kit is a scope with an adjustable approximation of 3-9 x 40.
The HPA MI uses an IGT gas spring, which is tensioned by the classic "break action". The use of a gas spring in this model allows the reduction of vibrations generated during shooting, quiets the operation of the mechanism and reduces the phenomenon of power loss, which occurs with the wear of the spring.
The airgun is fitted with a CAT (Custom Action Trigger) type trigger, which allows the user to precisely adjust the trigger action. Both the first and second trigger phases can be adjusted independently of each other. The HPA MI features a manual safety located in front of the trigger, which protects the user from uncontrolled shots.
On the front of the handguard, RIS rails have been placed on both sides, which allow mounting of the included bipod. Using a bipod stabilises the airgun and reduces shooter fatigue.
GAMO FEATURES;
This model combines the proven GAMO IGT system, GAMO Whisper Maxxim silencer system and the new GAMO CAT trigger.
-
GAMO IGT system:
A pneumatic gas cylinder replaces the traditional spring that is usually installed in break-barrel rifles. In this way, recoil is reduced to a minimum, cocking is less strenuous and faster shot sequences are possible - the shooting accuracy is also many times more precise.
The cocking process and loading work like with proven break-barrel airguns: the barrel is snapped down with momentum, a pellet is inserted and then the barrel is brought back into the starting position - done!
-
GAMO Whisper Maxxim:
Extremely quiet: the patented silencer system integrated into the barrel significantly reduces the noise of the shot (up to 52% attenuated). The performance and speed of shooting are not affected.
-
GAMO CAT-Custom Action Trigger:
The latest trigger system from GAMO - a 2-stage adjustable precision trigger. The length of the first phase and the length and weight of the second phase can be adjusted independently of each other. An illustrated operating manual is included in the scope of delivery.
