Ammo that goes the distance
H&N 6.35 mm HP 28 grain (.250) airgun slugs have a big advantage over conventional pellets, and that’s the fact this ammunition is designed with a very well thought through bullet shape, which guarantees a high ballistic coefficient of 0.096. This means the slugs have a low air resistance, keeping their momentum and resulting in a nice and flat trajectory. It does wonders for accuracy at long distances up to 100 metres. Of course, the significant weight of the H&N 6.35 mm HP 28 grain (.250) airgun slugs is important too, giving a nice and big mass transfer at impact.
H&N recommends using the H&N 6.35 mm HP 28 grain (.250) airgun slugs in air rifles with a power of at least 40 Joules, with an optimum between 60 and 90 Joules. All slugs are visually inspected, lubed and hand packed. The exact diameter is 0.2505 inch.
Bullets are best suited to airgun barrels designed for them, which do not have a reduction (FX SmoothTwist X equipped with a slug inner barrel, etc.).
