The WARRIOR model B52 .22 PCP air rifle is alot like the BEEMAN QB CHIEF II rifle; it features a similar rifle action, though the stock is different and in this case, we have a generous thumbhole stock. The trigger on this rifle is not adjustable and it does have a bit of a slack that needs to be taken up, especially closer to the breaking point, where trigger resistance builds up a bit. Not a big issue if you want a lower budget 206 BAR / 3000 PSI gun that will easily give you 850 FPS w/ 15.42gr GAMO MATCH pellets, which does put it in a power class slightly above the PR900.

The safety here is a push/lever type that actuates very simple and you don't need to turn your view to try and find the safety before you can actuate it. These lever safeties can readily be identified by using one's tactile sense alone and offers sufficient resistance so that, one has to make a deliberate effort at actuating it. It is unlike the QB CHIEF II which utilizes a "gauntlet" styled safety which is a stiff winch type that only fully toggles with a certain amount of force, which has to be exerted awkwardly

As you can see illustrated here, this rifle has an externally adjustable hammer spring to increase your muzzle velocity should you so wish, which can be turned by means of an allen key.

This rifle uses a 10 shot magazine as well, identical to the QB CHIEF II / same OEM, but not come w/ a single round loader, though the QB Chief one will likely be compatible w/ this gun as well. This rifle features no open sights, but has an interrupted PCP dovetail rail, so you can mount two-piece mount rings on, which will hold your telescope.

The cheekpiece/comb on the stock is raised, so it should allow for better eye-relief through the scope.

The filling port on the air-reservoir end is the same as the QB CHIEF II, is that the male Q/C is integrated, and has a cap-end that fits over it for concealment / protection.

Above here, on the barrel-end, you'll find a 1/2x20" UNF male RH thread that will allow you to thread an aftermarket silencer of your choice on, which alot of lower budget PCP rifles do not allow you, usually necessitating the use of an adapter / only allows for a certain (type of) silencer.

The bolt does cock like that on the QB CHIEF II exactly, which for vintage rifle hunters can be a pleasure to work with; the bolt head is enlarged, lifts up and pulls back w/ some effort needed - we recommend pressing the thumb of your same hand against the rear of the action for pulling support and this will allow you to cock the gun with one hand, no problem.

This rifle is sizeable w/ a really beefy-looking air reservoir, which we approximate to be about 165cc by the looks of it - definitely broader in diameter than the QB CHIEF II's 136cc, so on the factory hammer-spring seetting, we should be looking at about 40 - 50 usable shots, which isn't bad at all.

These type of magazines are the same self-indexing type that for example, the SUMATRA EAGLE CLAW and M22 uses. In these cases, the pellets are inserted one after the other, and a spring-loaded catch inside of the magazine, indexes the magazine, which is tripped when depressed, such as by the pellet probe, which then rotates the next loaded pellet into position for the pellet probe. These load up faster than the typical HATSAN and ARTEMIS ones do, as you don't need to torque up the vinyl face to prior to loading up a pellet, so it is quite beginner friendly.

Our overall impression of this rifle is very positive - we have here a 22.6” (574mm) barrel on a rifle weighing in 4.3 kg's. The weight will counteract recoiling and the longer barrel, will give you that longer distance accuracy. The barrel length varies slightly from the QB CHIEF II's 21.5” barrel length. Moreover, this barrel features 12 landings and grooves, not which we have confirmed as yet.

If you or your friend is looking at getting into the PCP game and want a bit of power, the option to externally adjust this power w/ minimal tooling needed, with a higher cheekrest, 10 shot magazine, long 574mm barrel (compared to the PR900's 480mm barrel) and of course, the option of a silencer of your choice w/out needing to purchase and install an additional adapter. We recommend one of these two silencer optionsthough the beefier one does a better job of hushing this rifle's big bark up.
