ZORAKI MOD 2914-TD BLANK GUN + 10 BLANKS + HOLSTER
In this combo you will receive the following :
1 X Zoraki Mod 2914-TD Blank Gun
10 X Kaiser Blank Rounds
1 X Ambidextrous IWB Holster
This is the ZORAKI model 2914-TD, in all black, which might appeal to most users.
The pistol is reminescent of the ZORAKI 914 in side, magazine capacity, all-metal build weight and ease of use. a Very woman-friendly gun, as the slide requires minimal effort to rack. Loose handedly, the best all-round blank gun we know of - ticks all the tactical checkboxes.
Key Features;
- Compact, yet broad, using a double stack 14-shot magazine. Fits a standard 7.65 type holster,
MAVERICK CLIP-ON HOLSTER - 7.65MM CAL PISTOL - All black, w/ white print on the slide and frame.
- BERETTA-type SA/DA trigger action
- Hammer cocks easily, has a half-cocked position as well
- Top-extraction - extractor lever operates vertically, not horizontally
- Stylishly integrated compensator in the slide
- Single action trigger has an additional rearwardly catch position
- Grippy texturing on the 3/4 single-piece grip stock
- Safety lever toggles w/ some difficulty, making it slightly hard to disengage the safety.
These 14-shot all-metal ZORAKI compact pistols are some of the few, in its size class, we would classify as 'tactical', considering the ease of toggling all the controls, how easy the magazine reinserts into the magwell.
The overall felt -and behavioural quality of this pistol, really is excellent, up there w/ the likes of EKOL.
The slide has forwardly edged / angled cocking serrations for tackier slide racking - specifically 10 of them at the rear. There is a halfway catch position that allows you to easily confirm whether a round is chambered or nor, on condition that the pistol is cocked - it will partically extract the cartridge, making the brass casing clearly visible, w/out ejecting it. Releasing the slide, will chuck said cartridge back into battery.
Not only that, but for its size, this pistol's ejection port is slightly oversized, to minimize ejection-related jamming.
The hammer itself is cross-serrated and it has a large barrel ridge, which makes it easy to cock the gun, using your thumb whilst your hand is wrapped around the handle.
The sights atop the slide are nice and high and due to that, we find that they are easy to acquire target picture with. They themselves are highly reflective otherwise, so just be vaguely aware of this.
The front of the slide, as indicated above, features an integrated compensator, that features a stylish symmetric pattern, as illustrated.
The handle itself is synthetic and as mentioned above, hass a three-quarter wrap-around grip stock w/ button stippling in patterned formation on all three sides. Likewise on this gripstock, there are finger rests.
The nicest feature to this pistol, is that the magazine has a 14 shot capacity and the rounds cycle soap smooth from the magazine, into battery and likewise, extracts out the top w/ ease
The half-cocked position possible w/ this sear, is a god-sent, as it allows for a trigger weight between single action and double action, w/out carrying the pistol fully cocked and risking a fired shot if, for example, the pistol were to fall out and hit the ground. The single action mode of the trigger, has a further 'half action' notch where, if the trigger is pulled halfway, it will stay ratchetted onto a final stage pull, that is closer to a 'tactical trigger pull', requiring one to take up about 5mm of slack, before the trigger breaks.
The full single action pull is about 9mm and the full double action, about 16mm, and w/out saying, the heaviest.
The finish of this pistol in particular, is an electro-plated nickel and as it wears through eventually, a copper hue will come through, which doesn't contrast w/ the chrome, the way that the typical black finish on a pistol, would contrast the underlying aluminium zinc alloy.
