Liquid error (sections/dbtfy-cart-goal.liquid line 68): comparison of String with 0 failed
Optics, CO2/HPA tanks and hoppers sold separately, please see at the bottom of the description.
Nice paintball marker, offering you MAG-FED out of the box, w/out the TMC's pricetag. Now here even, with a better price.
This marker is completely polymer - supplied w/ a 5 point collapsible stock that hooks in at the rear of the marker, similarly to how the buttstock on the Tippmann Chronus Tactical would fit on. The rear of the buttplate is diamond checkered for traction. While this marker does not feature a proper Picatinny shroud, it does feature a comprehensive Picatinny rail all along the top of the rifle, and of course under the free-floating hand-guard, where you can add the INCLUDED Picatinny-mounted shorty vertical foregrip. Not as nice as the cantilevered ones we 3D print, but its nice enough and certainly a whole world better than holding the marker by the magazine/magwell.
The unique feature to this marker, is that it comes w/ spring-loaded flip-up sights that are adjustable for both windage and elevation. Certainly a refreshing change from the dummy sights TIPPMANN markers come with.
The magazines are the same that the TMC use - 19/20 shot magazines. We recommend using solids for these magazines for longer term storage, otherwise, if you intend on using paintballs in conjunction w/ the magazines, you should consider using atleast 1 star paintballs, as rainbow or field grade balls are more pliable and will squish / sandwhich when lined up in J-formation inside the magazine for a longer / extended period of time. Likewise, we do not recommend storing pepper balls in these magazines, with the magazine follower spring disengaged. Lastly, to prevent your magazine spring from twisting up, always wind the magazine knob up to its extremity, then insert your rounds.
As you'll receive 2x of the above magazines, likewise you'll receive a mock 10 shot magazine, that is actually a hopper adapter and magazine well plug. This dummy magazine has the detant attached to it that allows you to use the hopper elbow. Typically, you'll need to have this dummy magazine installed first, before installing the hopper elbow, otherwise the hopper elbow will not fit. With the hopper elbow installed, you can then install onto that, a 200 or 50 shot hopper of your choice, chambered in .68 calibre. .50 calibre hoppers will not work.
As previously mentioned, the handguard is free-floating and quick-detachable. The included barrel threads onto the upper receiver and also helps to minimize the play on the handguard. The frontal end of the handguard has a dummy muzzle break, whereas the barrel itself lacks any sort of air stripper - Its a straight, smoothbore 9.5" shorty barrel, though nevertheless does shoot straight.
If you intend on shooting rubber balls with this rifle, you'll need to use TALCUM powder (Johnson & Johnson baby powder) for the rounds to cycle smoothly. You'll need to chuck some into your magazines too, although we recommend splitting the magazines open completely, and sprinkling the powder throughout the J-shaped feeder loop.
You'll have the ASA under the pistol grip, which is how the majority of paintball markers will operate (see illustrated). With bulkier tanks, this can be somewhat of a hassle to people not used to it, but nothing one cannot adapt to. These paintball tanks are refillable, unlike some more flush looking rifle options on the market, such as the SIG SAUER MPX / MCX which use those disposable 88 gram canisters. The capacity and muzzle energy of something like this, also far exceeds something like the CROSMAN DPMS SBR .177, although does lack the flush finish that the latter sports.
For the price here, we can barely find anything disagreeable on this marker.
What you'll need here, but not included in the price, is the following, that you can search for in our listings (Chuck the italic titles into the search bar);
VALKEN 20OZ PAINTBALL CO2 TANK W /PIN VALVE DOT/TC
(Good solid paintball tank, branded and certified. Refillable of course
BRASS TAPHEAD VALVE FOR CO2 PAINTBALL TANK
(This you can swop out on the tank as an upgrade - so instead of having pin-activated valve that is pressure-relieved and automatically opens the tank as you thread the tank in, you can now have your tank threaded into your marker's ASA with the valve closed. That way it won't perpetually pressurize your marker and you'll be able to pressurize it whenever you need to. Really nice for keeping your marker "on standby" mode.
GI MILSIM 1 STAR PAINTBALLS .68 - 500'S
(We recommend these 1 Star grade paintballs as they are more spherical and are more dimensionally stable than the field grade balls. These are more MAG-FED friendly than the field grades ones)
MADDOG 200 ROUND HOPPER
(Your standard 200 round gravity-fed hopper, does the trick, two-piece clamshell assembly using phillips drive screws. Has a lid that can shut properly.
CYTAC TACTICAL H/DUTY 2 POINT SLING HK MOUNTED
(Nice duty grade sling, intended for use with a firearm. Really tough made. Should work w/out saying for paintball markers)
