This is certainly an interesting flashlight among the types that ANDOWL does;
It features two modes that can be cycled through using the rubberized power button, which has the power icon indicator debossed on its surface. These include the main LED lamp and the lantern LEDs. These cycle through as two separate modes.
In front of this button, you have the rubberized cap forming part of the rubber protrusion that the power button is part of. This is debossed w/ a battery -and a thunderbolt vector and this, instead of being depressed, is a plug that is pulled from a mini USB port, where the flashlight is recharged via the supplied cable. You'll just need a two-prong 220V adapter if you wish to charge it via a wall outlet. Without it, you should be able to recharge it via a computer/laptop as well as a battery bank, though most smartphones today comes supplied w/ the 220v to USB adapter, so you shouldn't have a problem getting ahold of one if you might not have one yourself.
Featuring a 202mm long frame, w/ a handle dimension of 25x36mm and a handle length of 150mm, this flashlight is certainly child-friendly, as its handle is oblong, easy to hold, weighing in at a meager 142 grams.
The lens diameter measures in 40mm and upon switching this flashlight on, you'll find that it projects a focused ball of light, capable of distant illumination whilst also producing a semi-luminous colomn of light around this, that is marginally useful, especially for closer ranger illumination, whereas the hotspot would distantly concentrate.
The handle shaft has an attractive olive metalic finish, though this is just a sprayed coating, so do be careful when handling this. We suspect that palm sweat after some time will corrode this off, so if desired, feel free to regularly treat this flashlight's surface with some BALLISTOL liquid for longevity - use the liquid, not the spray, as aerosol tends to be corrosive to paint.
Otherwise, the battery pack is integrated and not removable. The flashlight head itself is polymer. The handle itself has the five clusters of 4 LEDs imbedded in series, measuring ø12mm each, which sports about 70 lumen each. So collectively, these can be employed as a lantern, to spread out vague illumination at a short distance. In this way, the flashlight can be placed w/ its lense facing the table, so that the lantern lights direct out perpendicular to the table.
The lense cap itself can be threaded off if desired, and we do recommend adding an O-ring at the very end / threshold of the threading as a makeshift means to generate ingress protection against moisture and dust.
Finally, it has the battery power / level indication displayed in four small blue LEDs, which are active / displaying whenever the flashlight is powered on, regardless of the mode. Presumably, these indicate increments of 25% power levels, so if only two of these four lights display when the flashlight is powered on, the flashlight should only have half capacity on its battery in remainder.
