You can use the gas line to do this, as this is sufficiently rigid for that purpose, but just work gently - no need for using a hammer or any impact tool.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBe sure to keep all the O-rings lubricated. This buffer tube is dimensioned up to MIL-SPEC (1.185\" ø (from thread pitch height to the other) x 7.25\" and likewise therefore, accepts all aftermarket MIL-SPEC compliant buttstocks, if you ever wanted to swop the buttstock out.
