The blowback spring is not too stiff and the gun racks like a dream. This can be threaded out as well, like on the BRUNI's as well as the KUZEY's, but we don't recommend this as it can bugger with your gun's ability to fire semi-automatic. We find that this insert isn't all that bad and most people who want to utilize a blank gun for a blank gun's purpose, then this shouldn't be too much of a bother.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe magazine ejector here is perhaps somewhat more of a key feature all on its own - its akin to the HK USP pistol - it is a small ambidextrous lever that forms part of the lower trigger guard, which, when pushed down, ejects the drop-free magazine. So far, this is the only blank gun we've seen that has an ambidextrous magazine release.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAs you'll note in the illustrations - the magazine itself has a chrome finish and the magazine follower is somewhat inset into the magazine housing and allows for a more thorough retention over the topmost \/ last loaded cartridge. We also found that this pistol loads up very, very easy. Pleasantly easy, to put mildly. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe front side of the magazine height does indicate more or less where the remainder of your ammunition count is sitting at, though not quite exactly, of course.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAs for handling ergonomy on this pistol - there are vague finger groove \/ slopes for the fingers to identify and slot into for a quick, confident hold on the pistol, whereas the dotted debossing on the handle does more to remind you that you are holding the pistol, as opposed to providing better traction. The backstrap has a bit more beef at the base, so that the pistol will fit better into your hand. The trigger guard similar to the 1992 transitional model, has a squared off trigger guard.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe controls are slightly off-spec when comparing it to the firearm counterpart. These controls are triple stepped \/ layered both upward and downward. Otherwise, they are both slender as well as lengthy, which does make it easy to toggle them. Good nevertheless, as most everything movable on this gun, is stiff. The safety is at the rear, frame-mounted, and simply can be toggled up or down w\/ your firing hand's thumb. This safety is ambidextrous \/ mounted both sides. Note in the case of some of these guns, that you'll need to toggle both levers, to put the pistol on safe. Doing so, prevents the sear from toggling the trigger and likewise, the related tension is absent - only the trigger's own weight can then be felt when pulling it.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe hammer otherwise, is steel and realistic looking - a thin-ish upright w\/ a pinhole through the head, w\/ cross-serrations off the ridge both sides, following the ball head shape of the hammer.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOtherwise, this gun features a 16 shot chrome-plated magazine, whose finish does resist tarnishing that occurs from magazine-to-magwell friction. It likewise, has a smooth and slightly slippery texture. The floorplate of this magazine is polymer, as is the magazine follower. The former can be removed by pushing the pin embedded in the base plate upward, whereafter the floorplate can be slid off.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe magazine release button is a knurled cylinder head shape, which of course, is presumably a type of non-magnetic alloy, similar to the hammer and likewise, the other controls. Only the barrel, blowback rod, field strip pin and magazine body has strong traces of steel.
