HARD LEATHER AVENGER HOLSTER, OWB - VEKTOR SP1

Premium feeling, looking - and scented - hard leather holster, wet-moulded to the pattern of the VEKTOR SP1. The manufacturer's stamp is on the inner face of the holster, also w/ the stamp that indicates what pistol the holster is moulded for.

The leather certainly is hard and flexible, has a bit of weight in the hand as well, specifically 140 grams. The leather wall likewise has a cross-section of about 4mm's. The stitch work here is par-none / really tough-looking.

As can be seen on the holster itself - it has a two-point retention for a belt; through the loop next to the trigger guard, then through the loop on the rear of the holster / left face of the holstered gun (which the stamp as illustrated, features upon). It looks to be a really serious holster and in conjunction w/ a proper leather or otherwise dense nylon belt, you shouldn't have any trouble. 
The mouth of the holster is nice and open, w/ no constraining over the top, allowing for really fast draws. That also being said - these holsters, as previously mentioned, are profile moulded, so the pistol will 'seat' proper into the holster and neither move back and forward, nor side to side. The pistol stays put in its intented fully holstered postion, partially negating the need for backstrap retention, making this both an ideal range shooting holster. As for EDC purposes - we normally do recommend a backstrap on a softshell or leather holster, as an open top holster like this does risk you having your firearm fall out when manoeuvering about your everyday life at work, etc.

Though, also food for thought - the interior suede on this holster won't take the finish on your pistol off the way that the interior of a hardshell holster would.
